Join us on Thursday mornings for yoga, meditation and peaceful connection with your baby. Parent and baby yoga helps lower the stress level , connecting with your body after birth and getting your muscle tone back and best of all spending peaceful, sacred, meditative time with your baby.
You don’t need to have any previous yoga experience and this is a baby friendly environment – feeding breaks ad noises are always allowed. The class will intentionally be held small so the sound level will not be overwhelming for the newborns.
Ages from 4 weeks.
If you have a yoga mat bring it – if not there will be yoga mats to borrow. Also bring a blanket and a sling/carrier if you have one for your baby. If you don’t use slings or carriers there will be ways to do the poses without one.
We are starting class at 11 am and ending around 12noon.
Price is $10 per class
Start date April 16th.
Teacher is Anna-Sara Fire accompanied by her daughter Akal who was born in November 2014. Anna-Sara Fire has been teaching yoga and meditation, workshops in yogic and mindful living for many years and is holding classes at her location in Warminster and at the retreat center she is running with her husband in Asbury Park.
